- After confirming that the date and time is available, make an appointment with me to plan your ceremony. The meeting can be in person (in Covina Calif.) by phone or Zoom. This also gives us an opportunity to meet and get to know each other. Whether you have ideas for your wedding ceremony or not, I will help you create a the most memorable, unique and "Treasured Ceremony." This is my specialty. Your wedding ceremony can be as simple or as creative as you like (short or long it’s up to you) plus it can be bilingual (Spanish & English). Your ceremony can include as many or as little of the cultural, traditional, religious, and family customs that you desire.
- After our meeting, make a $250. non-refundable deposit to secure and reserve your date. The balance is due anytime before the wedding.
- 24 to 48 hours after the deposit is made, I will send you your very own custom wedding ceremony outline, for you to review & approve, based on the information we discussed. I make sure that on the day of your wedding there are no surprises. You will know exactly what will be taking place throughout the entire wedding ceremony.
- Finally, a few weeks or days before your wedding I will contact you to ask if there are any changes or updates that need to be made to the ceremony.
Things to think about:
- Decide on either the "Short & Sweet" 5-minute pre-written wedding ceremony ($300) or the "Custom & Unique" full-service wedding ceremony ($500). Your wedding ceremony can be as short or long as you want. I will help you create a memorable short or long wedding ceremony.
- Decide if you will be having a wedding rehearsal (time, date and location). Then decide if you want me to attend or not. Important: If you are not sure and then decide to have me attend the rehearsal, let me know immediately so that the date & time of your rehearsal doesn't get booked by another event. The cost for me to attend the wedding rehearsal is $250.
- Decide if you will be writing your own vows. After the deposit is made I will send you my, “10 Steps to Writing Your Own Personal Wedding Vows” Free. It will have your spouse and everyone spellbound, even if you are not a good writer at all.
- Decide on which Ceremony Elements you want to include in your ceremony. In addition to the wedding vows and ring exchange, you may want to include the unity candle, sand ceremony, rose exchange, hands ceremony, special poems or bible readings, special songs, special family recognition, etc. It's really up to the bride and groom but don't worry I will help you each step of the way.
